Grey only remembers the train - specifically, the tail end of it. However, on the train, he has had a great deal of time to become a very fast, very skilled fighter. Since he cannot speak, he has a myriad of words tattooed onto his arms, which he uses to communicate. He also has a series of tattoos on his back and shoulders as well. He was a loyal defender of Gilliam, who all but raised him on the train. This awesome fic makes a nice backstory for Grey.
